Our flagship program connects mentees seeking advice on navigating business school applications, the business school experience, and career development / progression with mentors in our community who have been in their shoes.
Why a mentorship program?
Women in business school have not yet achieved parity, save a few programs — only a handful have reached 45% women this year. Even more staggering, only 8.2% of Fortune 500 CEOs are women. We aim to change that.
The MBAchic mentorship program provides a safe space for mentees and mentors to connect and support one another and offers a unique opportunity to broaden your network with other driven professionals around the world.
The MBAchic mentorship program combines monthly one-on-one mentoring sessions with workshops and programming coordinated and produced by the MBAchic team. In addition to lifetime membership in a private group and forum with the entire Cohort, participants gain exclusive access to workshops and guest speakers on topics such as:
- applying to business school
- funding business school and life beyond
- interviewing
- salary negotiation
- career development and coaching
- advocating for yourself in your job search
- branding and online persona development
- and more — including networking and recruiting opportunities, teambuilding, events and more as they launch throughout the program

Mentees submit a brief background, their resume and goals through a simple application form. Based on the mentor population joining us and their profiles (experiences and expertise), we accept mentees when we identify a match that can help you navigate the terrain ahead.
Mentors commit to monthly Zoom calls (1-hour long) with their mentee, for the duration of the nine-month program.
On top of your monthly 1:1’s, workshops are baked into the calendar focusing on any number of topics from the bulleted list above.
There is a one-time investment that unlocks the full nine-month program. A portion of that will go to your mentor and to the workshops and additional perks / gifts (this year included merchandise from the MBAchic Shop and recommended reading).
