MBAchicTakeover – Stephanie Navasu shares a day in the life as a VP of HR and Executive MBA
This week, Stephanie Navasu takes over to share a day in the life of a VP of HR, mother of three and Executive MBA candidate at University of La Verne. She shared her professional journey, advice for pursuing your full potential and how she, her family and her company have adapted and navigated life during the coronavirus pandemic.
As she shared her journey from a political science and economics background into the world of recruiting and human resources, she brought us along for the day. We saw her at the company that manufactures most of the packaging and in-store display promotions we’ve seen or received. She casually mentions the company is now mostly remote for positions not required to be on-site. As the VP of HR for her company, she was largely responsible for implementing and driving that change. This takeover is full of great advice derived from her experiences. Regardless of where you are in your journey, you should make time to meet Stephanie.
She shared parting wisdom around going through or choosing to grow through challenges. Many of us needed to hear that as we kick off 2021, still in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Do not miss it.
