#MBAchicTakeover – Yasmina shares her Kellogg MBA experience
This week, second year MBA candidate Yasmina Chalhoub shared her Kellogg MBA experience and brought us along to Northwestern Kellogg’s Day at Kellogg, or DAK. She shared the admitted students’ weekend and her own Hear My Story talk. In her talk she discussed her application process, recruiting and even overcoming imposter syndrome. After a look back at the weekend, she answered questions and offered her advice. Topics ranged from the application process, recruiting and interviewing, and how the MBA fits into her career as she continues to run her style and travel blog, Dress Well, Travel Often (@dresswelltraveloften_ on Instagram).
One timely point she made (as many await invites), was about MBA interviews. Yasmina reminded everyone to take a “forward-thinking” view when walking in to your MBA interviews. It’s not just about recruiters bringing in top students. It’s about bringing in bright leaders of tomorrow who will be great additions to the Kellogg family.
So if you’re thinking of pursuing your MBA or if you’re someone who wants to invest in yourself, your education and career, don’t miss Yasmina’s #MBAchicTakeover. Hearing her decision and application process might help you determine if the MBA is what you’re looking to do.
